Providing safe storage of dangerous goods

Sika dangerous goods

Client

Sika Australia

Location

Wetherill Park, NSW

About The Project

Sika Australia operates two facilities at Wetherill Park. One of these is a Distribution Centre for an extensive range of industrial and construction adhesives and sealants. Some of these adhesives and sealants contain flammable and combustible liquids.

There are strict requirements for the storing and handling of flammable and combustible liquids. Sika sought to ensure its Dangerous Goods Store was in full compliance with these requirements. A third party recommended CNF to Sika to inspect its dangerous goods store. CNF’s extensive experience in the storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids was the key driver for the recommendation.

Navigating Australian Standards can be a daunting and complicated undertaking. CNF’s role, as expert consultants, is to do all the hard work and offer a clear and practical path to follow to achieve compliance.

CNF was commissioned to:

  • Undertake a gap analysis of the installation and identify non-compliance with the relevant standards.
  • Provide practical solutions to ensure compliance.
