Upgrading conveyor loading systems for faster grain processing

CBH Conveyor Loading

Client

CBH Group

Location

South-west, Western Australia

About The Project

As part of its ‘2018 Throughput Enhancement Program’, Western Australia’s grain cooperative, CBH Group, upgraded 13 Conveyor Loading Systems at nine different CBH grain storage/distribution sites throughout the south-west. The upgrade aimed to reduce the time it takes to in-load and out-load grain to provide faster turnaround times for growers and transporters.

CNF was brought on board by MEEC Electrical to do the electrical and control systems design.

The Conveyor Loading systems included Conveyor Loading Augers or Elevator, Isolation Valves, Ground Conveyor, Stacker Loader, Storage Bin, Motor Control Centre and Field Control Panels.
