CNF & Associates seek to promote and maintain an Environmental Policy to ensure that the advice we provide to Clients and the impact of CNF operations upon the environment is reduced to as low a level that is practical and economically achievable.
CNF & Associates also require our suppliers and contractors to show equal commitment to environmental matters and expect them to be able to demonstrate this commitment in the quality of their services and work.
Concern for and an awareness of the environment is the responsibility of all staff. All personnel have obligations to apply design, construction and operating practices and procedures, which will ensure protection of the environment, and health and safety of themselves and other staff and Client's plants.
In the event of a reportable environmental incident, detailed investigations will be conducted and prompt actions taken to remedy the situation.
Objectives
These objectives are to serve as guidelines in the supplementation of the Environmental Policy.
- Comply with international, national and local legislative requirements.
- Respond quickly to incidents in order to minimise environmental damage.
- Dispose of waste in a safe and responsible way that shows respect and concern for the environment and safeguard individuals.
- Provide appropriate training for all employees to enable them to carry out their daily tasks in a manner that shows care for the environment.
- Conduct regular environmental audits during construction activities.
- Implement appropriate processes and strategies for our clients, which will significantly reduce impact on the environment.
- Develop procedures for assessing environmental impact of our designs and projects throughout their life cycle.
- Provide advice to our Clients and Contractors on safe handling, disposal and transportation of products and processes.
